Barrels have been one of the most common types of bitumen packaging to date, and they cover a wide range of bitumen barrels in various sizes. These include 150 kg, 180 kg and 220 kg barrels made of 0.6 mm thick steel sheets.
For the stuffing of barrels for transportation by container, 20 and 40 feet containers are used and the inside of the containers are covered with plastic rolls to prevent possible leaks and contamination of the container body.
